The American Clean Energy and Security Act will provide clean energy jobs for America, reduce our addiction to oil and make our country a leader for the 21st century. This comprehensive climate and energy legislation was passed out of the House Energy and Commerce Committee with bipartisan support and has been endorsed by leaders in business such as Duke Energy, AEP and Nike; labor; veterans' affairs; faith and the environment.
Edwards and other opponents are trying the same old tactics that have been used for years to thwart progress on clean energy: throwing around a lot of scary numbers and falsely claiming that global warming isn't real.
